Gigi Hadid posted a shirtless photo of her boyfriend Zayn Malik on her Instagram feed to usher in the New Year.
The black-and-white photo posted Jan. 2, Saturday, shows the bare tattooed torso of the former One Direction member, who is seen holding Hadid’s pet cat, Cleo.
The specific tattoos on the arms and chest of the man in the image clearly identifies him as Malik, Yahoo reported.
However, the cartoon tattoo showing his ex-fiancee, Perrie Edwards has been cropped out of the image.
The photo immediately went viral online, with over 600,000 likes and more than 50,000 comments centetred on the intimate snap.
This is the 20-year-old model’s first social media photo of her 22-year-old boyfriend just a month after the two became “official.”
In December, Malik posted a black-and-white Polaroid snap on his Instagram feed showing him and Hadid sharing a hug.
The couple first sparked rumors of a romance back in late November last year when they were sighted at celebrity hot spot, The Nice Guy, in West Hollywood, California, right after the American Music Awards.
Hadid had previously split with former beau, Joe Jonas earlier in the month, while Malik had recently ended a two-year engagement with Little Mixxx band member, Edwards in August last year, People said.
Hadid has also shared a photo of herself sporting a shirt with the logo of Malik’s favorite football team, prompting the Bradford City AFC club to offer the model their latest shirt with the club icon.
Just before Christmas, images of the model emerged showing her visiting Malik’s home at a London suburb.
