New details for "Daredevil" season 2 will feature a rumored premiere date on March and a possible appearances of Luke Cage and Jessica Jones.

It seems that a release date for the premiere of Netflix's "Daredevil" season 2 is set on March 25, the same day as the premiere of Warner Bros. and DC comic's upcoming film, "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice". Although it is not confirmed whether "Daredevil" season 3 release date is that accurate, past reports claim that season 2 is set for a March 2016 launch, while other fans speculated that it will be in April since the first season aired in the same date, ComicBook reported.

"Daredevil" season 2 will feature Matt Murdock/Daredevil (Charlie Cox) take on crime in Hell's Kitchen as an Attorney by daye and a masked vigilante by night."Daredevil" season 2 will introduce new characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe such as the deadly vigilante, Frank Castle/The Punisher (Jon Bernthal) and Matt's former lover interest turned assassin, Elektra (Elodie Yung).

There are also returning characters from season 1 such as Matt's former mentor Stick (Scott Glenn) hinting that his organization The Chase could be making an appearance in season 2 along with their rivals, the ninja organization The Hand.

Aside from rumored premiere date, "Daredevil" season 2 will likely have cameo or guest appearances from other Marvel Netflix series such as Luke Cage (Mike Colter) and Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter).

Luke Cage was first speculated in a teaser trailer for "Daredevil" season 2 were in Jossie's bar is being featured as the scene shifts into "Welcome to Hell's Kitchen. Pick Your Poison", the viewers will see a new sign that reads "Luke's" indicating that Luke Cage will be operating a bar near Jossie's or he own the bar itself and renames it, MovieWeb reported.

As for Jessica Jones, "Daredevil" season 1 character Claire Temple (Rosario Dawson) was featured in the final episode of "Jessica Jones" as she helped heal Luke's injuries and found out they have super powers. another hint is that Matt Murdock could be the defense attorney representing Jeri Hogarth's assistant/lover Pam.

Daredevil, Luke Cage and Jessica Jones will likely make appearances in season 2 possibly setting up events that will lead to the "Defenders" crossover along with Iron Fist.

"Daredevil" season 2 will premiere sometime in 2016 on Netflix.
