'W - Two Worlds' star Lee Jong-Suk shows up at the '2016 Lee Jong Suk Fan Meeting Variety' event held in southeastern Seoul on Sept. 10, Saturday.

The Korean drama "W Two Worlds" has been a hit to the extent that fans are clamoring for a second installment. The MBC fantasy show, wherein Lee Jong Suk played Kang Chul, wrapped up last week.

Jong Suk fell in love with Han Hyo Joo, who played a doctor that teleported from the real world into the cartoon sphere. MBC decided to air a special segment episode on Sept. 17 to thank supporters and avid fans of the drama series, according to Soompi.

Apart from aficionados clamoring for Season 2 based on the high ratings and positive review of "W Two Worlds," they also wish that Jong Suk and Hyo Joo returned to reprise their roles. Viewers are optimistic that this may succeed and the 27-year-old actor does not want to be separated with his character in "W Two World."

Furthermore, the actor does not want to part ways with his love lady, Yeon Joo. It emerged that out of Jong Suk's productions, "W Two Worlds" is the toughest one to bid goodbye.

Jong Suk had an interview with All KPop, indicating that he preferred a sad ending. The actor would like the show to wrap up with love, marriage, and family.

"Personally, I prefer sad endings. I think it'll be good to have a smooth, sad ending," Jong Suk said. "A smooth context and an appropriate farewell will be a heartache, but understandable. It will also make the drama linger in your mind longer."

On the other hand, certain factors hint at how the actor might not actually be part of the second installment. Jong Suk has apparently been preoccupied with his new Chinese-Korean drama, "Jade Lovers."

However, Song Suk would enter preparations while having serious discussions with the director for his next production. The film will reportedly start next month. Although he was mum on details about his new drama, reports suggest that the actor is set to gain weight for the role.

In case "W Two Worlds" Season 2 pushes through, it is unclear how viewers will react when Hyo Joo is paired with a new lead character. The 29-year-old actress has been rumored to be in a love relationship with Jong Suk based on their obvious chemistry on the show.
