It seemed that there will be no iOS 8.2 jailbreak release happening soon as Apple started seeding the first beta of iOS 8.4 to registered developers.
In less than a week since the launch of the official version of iOS 8.3, Apple is prepping up for the release of iOS 8.4 to iOS devices. One of the new features of the new version of the operating system is the redesigned Music application. According to GSM Arena, the new Music app in iOS 8.4 boasts an all-new design and MiniPlayer feature. The latter feature enables users to play music while browsing the collection or using other features.
Aside from the MiniPlayer, the following are the updates in the iOS 8.4, according to 9to5 Mac:
- Recently Added - the albums and playlists that you recently added in your collection can now be accessed on top of the library. Thus, making it easier to play the new music.
- Streamlined iTunes Radio - users can now access the Recently Played stations in the iTunes Radio.
- Improved Now Playing - users can also stream music wirelessly through AirPlay. The Now Playing option still shows the album artwork.
- Up Next - the new feature will show the songs to be played in the library. The feature will also enable the user to reorder, skip, and add new songs.
- Global Search - the global search feature allows users to search tunes through the Music app.
Meanwhile, the release of iOS 8.4 beta version hinted that no new iOS 8.2 jailbreak will be released anytime soon. The iOS 8.3 included extreme security features, more should be expected in the release of iOS 8.4.
Hopes are up that iOS 8.2 jailbreak will roll out soon after Chinese developer TaiG announced that it will release the said jailbreak as soon as possible. However, the developer has not revealed a specific date yet.
