A month after it released the official version of iOS 8.2, the Cupertino-based company finally unveiled the iOS 8.3 with new features and bug fixes. One of the major additions in the new iOS 8.3 is the 300 emoji that offer racial diversity. However, some people find the new emoji racist. The new iOS also optimized the iCloud Photo library to work with the new Photos app in the Mac OS X.
However, the new iOS also came with issues that make some users hold from downloading the OS. The following are the reasons why you should not download the new iOS 8.3.
1. You are waiting for the new iOS 8.2 jailbreak.
If you want to jailbreak your iOS device, you must steer clear from the new iOS 8.3. iOS Jailbreak developer MuscleNerd warned iOS users not to download the new Apple operating system as it packs 39 security bugs that rivals the jump from iOS 7.x to iOS 8. Moreover, iOS 8.3 allegedly killed a key feature that jailbreaking groups are exploring in making the new jailbreak. This intensified security feature of the new iOS is bad for jailbreakers.
2. It still has glitches, bugs and issues.
It is inevitable that new versions of any software have glitches, bugs and issues that may hinder the smooth performance of the operating system. According to MacRumors, some users are unable to use their Touch ID in making App Store purchases. The problem persisted after users toggle the Touch ID and even after a factory reset.
3. Some apps may have problems.
Following the glitch in iOS 8.3, users may also experience some issues with some of the apps in the new iOS. Some apps may not be ready for iOS 8.3.
It is still unknown if this will be the last iOS update from Apple or the next update will be the new iOS 9.
