While Apple rolled out the fourth beta version of iOS 8.3, the tech giant is also expected to take the wraps off the iOS 9 soon. It is speculated that the iOS 9 beta 1 will be seeded to developers on Jun. 8.
If rumors proved to be true as well as based from previous Apple's schedule, the Worldwide Developers' Conference will take place sometime on Jun.8-12, according to Product Reviews. The said tech event will showcase the next generation of Apple operating system - iOS 9. At the event, the Apple will hold a keynote and roll out beta version of the software. This is the case last year, Apple rolled out the first beta version of iOS 8 right after the press conference.
Just like last year, the beta version is for developers who gained membership by paying the annual subscription fee. While the first betas of iOS 9 will be exclusive for iOS developers, a public beta will most likely be available in the summer.
According to The Fuse Joplin, iOS 9 is codenamed as Monarch and its public beta is scheduled to be available in the summer before its official roll out to iPhone and iPad users in the fall.
There is a great possibility that the new generation of iOS will follow the footsteps of the the public beta program of last year's OS X Yosemite through the AppleSeed program, according to some "multiple people briefed on the plans". According to reports, the iOS public beta will be available to 100,000 people.
Public beta users will be able to report bugs and issues they encounter while using the iOS 9. This will help the company in improving the operating system. However, nothing is set in stone yet as Apple has not disclosed its plans yet.
