iOS users who want to jailbreak their devices are keeping their fingers crossed for the release of iOS 8.2 jailbreak.

Although Chinese developer TaiG confirmed that they are working on the iOS 8.2 jailbreak, the said jailbreak is still missing in action until now.

However, it seemed that TaiG is teaming up with other developers like working on the latest jailbreak. According to Scribbal, TaiG will post videos from Mobile Security Summit 2015 that took place in Beijing, China on Mar. 27. detailing the talks of Ray and XN of TaiG, Pimskeks of the evad3rs, p0sixninja and others.

TaiG announced in its website that the said summit is to create a forum among jailbreak developers to brainstorm in developing better untethered jailbreaks in the future.

"The development and release of a jailbreak tool was restricted to several factors, however what TaiG Jailbreak Team wanted is to release the jailbreak of iOS 8.2 as soon as possible," the developer said.

However, TaiG assured that it is working iOS 8.2 jailbreak, although it has not announced a specific release date yet.

Previous reports claimed that TaiG is using the beta versions of the iOS 8.2 to find the vulnerabilities of the particular iOS version. Meanwhile, there are reports saying that iOS 8.2 is not jailbreakable just like the iOS 8.1.3. TaiG was one of the jailbreak developers to develop a jailbreak to the new iOS.

However, Apple is also set to roll out the iOS 8.3 soon that may halt the upcoming jailbreak. Apple is also set to show off the next generation iOS 9 in June.
