Action-RPG ‘Marvel Future Fight’ Released Ahead Of ‘Avengers: Age Of Ultron’

Netmarble has recently announced that a Marvel action-RPG will be released to iOS and Android devices worldwide and fans can access it for free before the premiere of Joss Whedon's "Avengers: Age of Ultron."

The action role playing game is called "Marvel Future Fight" and it will be released on Apr. 30, as per Touch Trade.  It features an original story set in the Marvel Universe, which is penned Peter David.

The primary objective of the game is to have tarnished heroes return to the good side and that becomes possible by fighting them. Players can face an array of missions while revealing the real foe behind the future attacks.

Gamers can recruit various Marvel superheroes and supervillains from 36 playable characters, such as Daredevil, Spider-Man, Captain Marvel, the Guardians of the Galaxy, and the Avengers, as per Apple. The heroes and villains have their own moves, abilities, and stats.

The game also allows upgrades on certain skills and players can unlock high-class items and rewards when they challenge Marvel's most powerful supervillains in intensified boss battles.

"Marvel Future Fight" allows to players to engage in 3 vs 3 team battles. There are four hero types that can be combined to for a Marvel team - Blast, Combat, Speed, and Universal. Special power boosts can be also unlocked by using certain Marvel heroes as team mates.

The game features the Ally system, where players can enlist hero support from friends. "Marvel Future Fight" also uses one-finger touch or virtual control pad to control the characters.

Marvel has partnered with various companies to produce their franchise games for smartphones. They connected with Gameloft for "Spider-Man Unlimited," with DeNA for "Marvel Mighty Heroes," and with Kabam for "Marvel Contest of Champions." Netmarble is their fourth partner in gaming.

The South Korean game developer is known for online games such as "Dragon Ball Online" and "Grandchase." Now, it has developed the upcoming free action RPG, "Marvel Future Fight."

Meanwhile, Marvel fans can see Whedon's upcoming blockbuster "Avengers: Age of Ultron" in theaters on May 1.
