A new poster for the upcoming film "Ant-Man" has been released to keep Marvel fans on fire. Currently, Joss Whedon's "Avengers: Age of Ultron" is dominating the big screen, leading to the conclusion of Marvel's Phase Two.
The poster features the characters of the film, with Paul Rudd's "Ant-Man" at the center of the image. Around him are floating images of the other characters of the movie, in line with how Marvel creates its film posters.
As per Forbes, the film poster for "Ant-Man" is not dreadfully claustrophobic. There are no odd character poses at the side of the image, like in the "Avengers: Age of Ultron" film poster published in Tiny Pic.
One thing that can also be noticed in the new poster is the resemblance of the general layout to the movie posters of the first "Iron Man," "Captain America: The First Avenger," and "Guardians of the Galaxy."
Aside from the solo film "Ant-Man," the smallest Marvel superhero is set to appear in Joe and Anthony Russo's "Captain America: Civil War," where he will be joining either Captain America's team or iron Man's team.
Fans will also see "Ant-Man" in the two-part film "Avengers: Infinity War," in which the superhero will be along with Captain Marvel, Black Panther, and Doctor Strange.
The film stars Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Corey Stoll, Bobby Cannavale, Michael Peña, and Michael Douglas.
Film helmer Peyton Reed is set to pilot the film, along with Victoria Alonso, Louis D'Espirito, Kevin Feige, Alan Fine, Michael Grillo, Stan Lee, Leo Thompson, Brad Winderbaum, Lars Winther, and Edgar Wright as his co-producers.
On board to co-write the screenplay with Rudd are Wright, Adam McKay, and Joe Cornish.
"Ant-Man" is slated to premiere in theaters in 2D, 3D, and IMAX 3D on July 14.
