Chinese action star Jackie Chan made it to this year's Forbes highest paid celebrities list.

Jackie Chan is the second highest paid male celebrity holding the 38th position with a total of $50 million in pre-tax earnings.

The Chinese actor is second only to American actor Robert Downey Jr., who earned $80,000 and take the eighth spot in the list.

Jackie Chan is the only Chinese celebrity to make it to the world's top 100 moneymakers in 2015.

The 61-year-old actor seemed to have lesser action stunts in recent years, showing less jumping and elaborate movements.

Chan has not been seen in any American live action movie in the last five years, and has reduced workload and other physically demanding stunts in his Chinese productions.

Still, he is able to attract moviegoers, as the decrease in action stunts didn't seem to affect his earnings.

His latest movie "Dragon Blade," which also stars Adrien Brody and John Cusack, gathered a total of $120 million, according to Forbes, with possibly $10 million going to Chan.

Chan also does well in branding and marketing.

It is easy to see why Chan, the second most popular martial artist since the legendary Bruce Lee, performs as a very effective product endorser.

Chan is often seen wearing a traditional Chinese style shirt, which happens to be just one of the many products he sells.

On top of this, Chan is also a dealership owner of two-wheeled vehicle Segway, and has a chain of cinemas under his name.

Late in May, Chan launched his first-ever film and television academy.

Forbes stated that Chan's net worth is estimated at $350 million, a figure that the star and his team refused to comment on.
