The South Korean musical group Bangtan Boys is set to take Beijing for a spin in March as part of the boy band's 2015 World Tour.
Popularly known as BTS, the seven-member group confirmed during a press conference held in Beijing that they would be performing at ThinkPad in Beijing's MasterCard Center on March 21, 2015.
According to the all-male group, the concert would be their first stop during the leg of their world tour in China and would later proceed to perform in other cities including Shanghai and Guangzhou.
Members of the boy band include Kim Seok-jin (more famously known as Jin), Suga or Min Yoon-gi, the Rap Monster Kim Nam-joon, Jung Ho-seok (also known as J-Hope), Park Ji-min, Kim Tae-hyung and Jung Kook.
After being brought together by Big Hit Entertainment, they rose to fame through their first hit single "No More Dream" released in June 2013, which was later followed up with the song "We Are Bulletproof Pt.2."
They were recognized for their talents after winning a number of "New Artist of the Year" awards from different award-giving bodies such as MelOn Music Awards and Golden Disk Awards in 2013 and the Seoul Music Awards in 2014.
Aside from their Korean album "Dark & Wild" released in 2014, the all-male band has also left their mark in Japan in December last year after they debuted their Japanese album entitled "Wake Up," which was released in three editions called the Limited Edition Type A, the Limited Edition Type B and the original edition.
