The latest details for "Captain America: Civil War" will feature three post-credits scenes and the Russo Brothers revealed new details on Spider-Man's role and costume in the film.
Directors Anthony and Joe Russo teased that "Captain America: Civil War" will likely feature three different post-credit scenes in the film as Joe Russo hinted that one of post-credit scene could feature Doctor Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) in phase 3. Although the director did not divulge any further details, Joe wanted the viewers to stay put on their sits and watch happens next when movie is already finished.
It is theorized that one of the possible endings for "Captain America: Civil War" could the imprisonment and assassination of Steve Rogers/Captain America (Chris Evans) similar to the comic version of "Civil War". This could give on the possibility that Buck Barnes/The Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan), Cap's best friend to take on the mantle and shield as the new Captain America, Screenrant reported.
However, YouTube channel Emergency Awesome theorized that three post-credit scenes could set up the new "Spider-Man 2017" film for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which is fitting considering Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland) will debut first in "Civil War".
The next could the introduction of Doctor Strange will likely feature the concept of "magic" within the MCU as supposed to another tech based world. The last could be an appearance by Thanos (Josh Brolin) that will set up events towards "Avengers: Infinity War".
Thanos appearance could likely happen since the Mad Titan is searching for the Infinity Stones with his Infinity Gauntlet and Vision (Paul Bettany) will leave earth after "Captain America: Civil War", thus making the latter a target of Thanos for his Mind Stone.
In other news, the Russo Brothers discuss Spider-Man's role and criticism about his costume in "Captain America: Civil War".
The Russo Brothers told Forbes that they intended to put Spider-Man in "Civil War" from the beginning citing the deal that Sony and Marvel Studios made to have Peter Parker in the MCU and to bring him back to Marvel as well.
When asked about what kind of role Spider-Man will have in "Civil War", Joe teased that audiences will be happy, while Anthony explained that Spidey does not have the same emotional baggage as the other Avengers have in the film and he enters the scene after the conflict that is happening between Captain America and Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.).
The Russo brothers also addressed Spidey's costume in the film as it was met with mixed reactions with some of the viewers and comic book fans. Joe stated that Spidey's costume in trailer is what they will have to see in the film and he explained that Spider-Man is a popular and controversial character, people will always love and hate him.
Anthony on the other hand, explained that Spider-Man's appearance in the "Civil War" trailer is something of a Rorschach test where in people can pour out their anxiety over Spider-Man, but will soon realize that this version of the web-slinger is entirely different from the rest of the movie interpretations.
"Captain America: Civil War" will be released in cinemas on May 6, 2016.
