The latest details for "Avengers: Infinity War" will feature new characters in the film and the possibility of new team members within the ranks of Earth's Mightiest Heroes.
"Captain America: Civil War" directors Joe and Anthony Russo teased that "Avengers: Infinity War" will introduce new characters that not are yet appeared in the Marvel movies within Marvel Cinematic Universe. Joe Russo stated that having new characters in the third and fourth films would be a "big sprawling" ambitious movie like never before as the title itself is already an indicator on what an incredible scale and scope of it.
Anthony Russo added that "Avengers: Infinity War" is intended to be the entire culmination of all Marvel Cinematic Universe films and in many ways, the end to a part of it. However, he stated that they he and Joe have not yet started a script for the film as they are still in the outline phase. The Russo brothers had a hard time talking about it in a specific way not just for spoilers, but they are still figuring out what the sequel will look like, Comicbook reported.
"Captain America: Civil War" is the first film entry within phase 3 of the MCU and it will introduce two new Marvel superheroes, T'Challa/Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) and Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland). Both heroes will star in there solo films within phase 3 along with other movies such as "Thor: Ragnarok", "Doctor Strange", "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2", "Captain Marvel", "The Inhumans" and "Avengers: Infinity War" part 1 and 2.
It was rumored before that there will be 67 characters pinned for "Avengers: Infinity War", but the Russo brothers clarified that they were being figurative about this, but they did say that their will be an incredible amount of characters in the film.
With a large scale of characters, Marvel Studios could introduce new members of the Avengers with the likes of Spider-Man, Black Panther, Captain Marvel and Wasp (Evangeline Lilly) joining the team in "Avengers: infinity War", Screenrant reported. Joe teased that possibility that a new costume for Spider-Man could be introduced in "Infinity War" and without any question, audiences will see the evolution of his suit.
The Russo brothers stated before that "Avengers: Infinity War" will likely focus on the secondary characters as opposed to the major heroes like Captain America (Chris Evans), Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Thor (Chris Hemsworth),The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) and more. Past reports claim that part 1 of "Avengers: Infinity War" could feature the possible deaths of Captain America, Thor, Iron Man and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) during their first encounter with Thanos and in part 2 Captain Marvel leads a new line-up of Avengers.
The Vision (Paul Bettany) will help set up the chain of events leading to "Infinity War" as the android hero will leave earth during the aftermath of "Civil War", which will make him a target for Thanos since he has the the Mind Stone.
"Avengers: Infinity War" part 1 is slated to be release on May 4, 2018, while part 2 is scheduled on May 3, 2019.
