Ubisoft will be handing out punishments soon after players exploited in-game glitches that will net loots not intended to be acquired instantly.

An anonymous community manager said that players exploited the recently released game mode, Falcon Lost, Arstechnica reported. It is a multiplayer raid-like incursion where players will have to face a very tough boss to get a piece of powerful equipment which is supposedly available once a week. However, players find a way through to bypass that wall.

Apparently, players can speed through the incursion in 20 minutes by rinsing and repeating this process: gamers use the Survivor Link and Mobile Cover skills, which enable them to move through walls and skipping key moments and spawning of enemies in this game mode.

Although some might even find the move clever and question Ubisoft for the sanctions, it is however, stated in their Code of Conduct that taking advantage of glitches is strictly prohibited.

"Exploitation of any new or known issues or bugs is forbidden and may result in account suspension or revocation, with a first offense leading to temporary suspension and multiple offenses leading to a permanent ban," as stated in the logbook.

Gamers have a strong point on protesting this as they are nothing but explorers of a game world Ubisoft created fully. What they did is still part of the game mechanics and no hacking was involved in the process.

Currently, some gamers are seriously considering doing the exploit as players who have gone through the process are just annihilating everyone in the PVP Dark Zone. Ubisoft released a fix on the said bug but it was not enough as players easily found another way to take advantage of the glitch. Meanwhile, Ubisoft has yet to make a solid resolution on the matter as they do not want to lose players by removing the ill-gotten equipment.

Now, recent reports state that Ubisoft will compensate players with 100s of Phoenix Credits who were affected by the recent fiasco, VG247 reported. Players will be entitled to 500 Phoenix Credits and 10 of all High-End crafting materials including electronics, fabric, division tech, tools and gun parts.

To sweeten things up, they will also dish out 150 Phoenix Credits as a compromise for being unable to update the daily challenges for three days straight. Here is how gamers took advantage of the glitch.
