New details for "Kingdom Hearts 3" will feature the return of Cloud Strife and Sephiroth, a delayed release date for the PlayStation 4 and a possible new Disney world added to the sequel.
Several rumors are making rounds regarding "Kingdom Hearts 3's' release date being delayed until 2017. This all began when Axl's voice actor Quinton Flynn tweeted that Square Enix should "step up" in the game production. Flynn followed it up with another tweet stating that he has not been doing anything related to "Kingdom Hearts 3".
Flynn's tweets about "Kingdom Hearts 3" sparked a speculation among video game fans that Square Enix might delay the release of the game until 2017 as Square Enix has not yet released any new information about the third installment, Gamezone reported. There were speculations that one of the reasons for "Kingdom Hearts 3's" release date being delayed is that Square Enix was busy completing and developing "Final Fantasy XV" for PS4 and Xbox One consoles until its release date on Sept. 30.
Although, it not confirmed yet if Flynn will reprising his role as Axl in "Kingdom Hearts 3", voice-actor Jim Cummings teased that Winnie the Pooh and Tigger will be returning the game. Steve Burton also tweeted that Cloud Strife and Sephiroth could be coming back "Kingdom Hearts 3" as he tease some important work last month.
In other news, Square Enix will likely add a new Disney world for "Kingdom Hearts 3" as the 90's popular Disney Animated series "Gargoyles" was almost considered to be part of the game.
The animated series co-creator and producer Greg Weisman stated during the last year's MomoCon event that it was up not up to him to put "Gargoyles" in "Kingdom Hearts 3". Weisman added that everyone he knew have been pushing "Gargoyles" for the game, but ended being fired because of it, thus the series was never put on the game, Gamingbolt reported.
Three Disney worlds were confirmed in "Kingdom Hearts 3" based from "Hercules", "Tangled" and "Big Hero 6", while other rumored Disney worlds that being considered for game such as "Frozen" , "Wreck-it Ralph", "Brave", "Toy Story","The Jungle Book", "The Emperor's New Groove", "Wall-E" and many more. Co-director Tai Yasue also hinted that Marvel and Star Wars franchises could be joining "Kingdom Hearts 3".
"Kingdom Hearts 3" is speculated to be release on 2017 for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
