For months now, fans are not quite satisfied with the news of a possible "Crash Bandicoot" comeback, especially that different views were already laid to the table. Some have reported that authorities like Naughty Dog and Sony has not confirmed nor denied anything, while some noted the game will not be coming back for good. Just recently, a "Crash Bandicoot" PS4 cover appeared at an online site of a Swiss retailer.
The site was named Alcom Electronics where a made-up poster for a "Crash Bandicoot" PS4 was posted. While several of these stores are existing, they should not be trusted because these kind of retailers are just relying on rumors, while some games included in their placeholder list was not even rumored for a release, Dual Shockers reported.
The report added that these kind of sellers are just taking a big shot at uncertainty because it would be an advantage for them in case some of those games are suddenly announced for launching. In that way, they are even more ahead of the more popular retailers in terms of pre-orders.
Going back to the much-awaited "Crash Bandicoot" return, there might still be room for hope as it has been speculated that it will be announced in the upcoming E3 conference this June. This could somehow be true since teasers had been more evident lately. The recent one was from an Easter egg that appeared in "Uncharted 4" where protagonist Nathan Drake and his wife Elena decided to play some "Crash Bandicoot," Kotaku reported.
The same report noted how "Uncharted 4" co-director Bruce Straley has explicitly denied last year about the possibility of "Crash Bandicoot" game appearing inside the latest "Uncharted" installment. He expressed that they wanted to put the game inside "Uncharted 4" but it was met by negation with utmost conviction where he said it is not going to happen, so fans do not need to worry.
While there are several headlines which continue to tease its possible return, a concrete "yes" has yet to be confirmed so that fans can finally celebrate. Will the much-awaited game be coming back soon?
