According to new reports, the OnePlus 3 will be released on June 14, 2016. Also, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus has reduced the prices of OnePlus X and OnePlus 2.

Display
Speculations are doing the rounds that the upcoming smartphone will sport a 5.5-inch screen with 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution. The OnePlus 3 will have a metallic design and will have excellent features and specifications.
Processor
According to a Slash Gear report, the OnePlus 3 will be available in four models. The pricing of the models will be based upon the memory, material and other features of the versions. Several reports indicate that the variants will be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 820 processor.
Camera
The new smartphone is expected to have an 8MP selfie shooter and a 16-megapixel rear-facing camera. According to many reports, the OnePlus 3 will ship with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system.
It is said that the new device will come with a USB Type-C connector. Other connectivity options of the smartphone include GPS, USB, Bluetooth and 4G LTE, 3G.
Fingerprint Scanner
Various reports also suggest that the OnePlus 3 will have a fingerprint scanner embedded on its home button. Furthermore, the OnePlus 3 smartphone will be packed with a 3,000mAh battery.
Price
Earlier reports suggested that the upcoming smartphone will have a starting price tag of $308. However, new reports indicate that the base model of the OnePlus 3 will cost about $349. It is expected that the other three models of the upcoming smartphone will cost $379, $410 and $425.
Meanwhile, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus has permanently discounted OnePlus X and OnePlus 2 smartphones.
The OnePlus 2, which was released in August 2015, is currently available for $299 for its 64 GB storage edition. The OnePlus X (Champagne edition) at present carries a price tag of $199.
Some of the features of OnePlus 2 smartphone includes Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset, 5-megapixel front shooter, 64GB of internal storage and 13-megapixel primary camera on the rear.
