The Android Marshmallow update is coming soon for LG G Flex 2, LG G4 Stylo and LG G Pad X8.3. The upcoming operating system Android N is confirmed for LG V10, G Stylo, G2, G3, G4 and G5.
LG G Flex 2 is confirmed to receive the Android Marshmallow update, according to GSM Arena. It is expected to rollout for the device in the coming weeks.
LG G4 Stylo is currently receiving the Android Marshmallow update. The update is rolling out in a phased manner for all the users.
The users can check their devices to see if they are eligible for the Android Marshmallow update or not. To do so, they need to go to Settings> About Phone> About Software.
In case the users are prompted to download the latest update then they need to connect their device to a power source if the battery levels are less than 50 percent. The device also needs to be connected to an unmetered and stable Wi-Fi network for an uninterrupted download experience.
LG G Pad X8.3 will also receive the Android Marshmallow update very soon. However, it is not clear if it will receive the upcoming operating system Android N or not.
LG G5 has received the Android Marshmallow update on the various network carriers such as T-Mobile, AT&T, US Cellular, Sprint and Verizon. International variants of the device have also received the update.
LG G4 and LG G3 also received the Android Marshmallow update on US Cellular, AT&T and Verizon. Network carriers Sprint and T-Mobile are currently rolling out the update for their users.
LG V10 users on various network carriers such as US Cellular, Sprint and Verizon also received the Android Marshmallow update. Network carrier T-Mobile also rolled out the update for its users, according to its support page.
LG G5, G4, G3, G2, G Stylo and V10 will also get the upcoming operating system Android N upon its release. It is expected to release in the summer.
