The issue on the rumored break-up of South Korea's superstar Lee Min Ho and Miss A's idol Suzy has just recently put to rest by their respective agencies when they stated that the two did not break-up and are seeing each other just fine.
It can be remembered that speculations of the two breaking-up suddenly went viral on the internet when photos of Bae Suzy with former boyfriend, Sung Joon, suddenly flooded the internet. Along with the photos are various speculations that Suzy is perhaps seeing again his previous flame and cheating on Lee Min Ho.
However, in her account on Twitter, it seems that the pictures were taken when the two were still together and even before Suzy and Min Ho entered into a relationship. According to Movie News Guide, this clarifies the issue on their break-up, and contrary to these speculations, Sung Joon and Suzy have always insisted that they are just plain good friends.
In addition, it seems that Sung Joon is not the only one to blame in this rumored break-up as the name of Suzy's previous co-star Kim Soo-Hyun also added to the spice of the issue. Rumors on the two having an off-cam relationship based on their overwhelming chemistry in the drama "Dream High" also resurfaced recently.
Finally, Suzy seems to have added fire to the rumor during her interview for Harper's Bazaar Korea July 2016 issue where she related bits of information about her upcoming drama. AllKpop reported that Suzy said she can relate to her character very well, who was someone who lived for others despite having to make sacrifices, but after going through some things, she changed after a reality check. With the strong statement about changing after a reality check, fans cannot help but conclude that this is a hint on the real score between the two - that there was indeed a break-up.
Nevertheless, despite previous statement of JYP Entertainment that the two has never been better, no confirmation or negation has been officially released yet by the central figures involved in the controversy, and it seems that the two are more concerned about their projects than the issue at present.
