GTA V Online players now have the chance to rack up some exclusive vehicles, accessories, clothing, bonus RP and in-game cash thanks to the Independence Day event that will run up to July 4.
Coincidentally, the Grand Theft Auto V Online event is also set during the Steam Summer Sale that will also run until Monday. GTA V itself is on sale at Steam for 40 percent off which means new players can make the most of their savings and reap more rewards over the weekend.
The Independence Day event started on Friday morning. Players are already spending more hours to get more cash and in-game rewards that would otherwise be hard to get on a normal day-to-day basis.
RP and cash payouts during the special Independence Day event in GTA V Online will be doubled, The Inquisitr has learned. All players have to do is access the new limited time playlist in the menu onder GTA Online.
Rockstar Games have selected several jobs that they believe would capture the essence of independence for players. Of course, there are still game modes that are familiar to most such as races and team death matches.
There are also other bonus discounts during the said event. GTA V players can get 40 percent off on all Masks and the Turreted Limo during the Independence Day special for GTA Online, TrueAchievements reported. The Bull Shark Testosterone supplement is also discounted at 50 percent off for the duration.
Other Independence Day Special content for GTA V Online will also be included up until July 11 with 25 percent off discounts. These include the Firework Rocket Launcher and ammo, Sovereign motorcycle, Liberator monster truck and the other Independence Day Special patriotic gear for players.
Rockstar is also including the new Pfister 811 Supercar that players can purchase at the Legendary Motorsport inventory inside GTA online. Players can immediately buy the new car once they are done with their double payout missions.
GTA V Online is often full of special events that give players the chance to rack up some serious in-game cash and RP to be used in buying cars, clothing, weapons and more to flaunt. The Independence Day Special event bonuses will last until July 4 while the items can be bought until July 11.
