As the last episode unfolded Cersei taking over King's Landing, a displeased face of Jamie who just arrived at the palace was seen witnessing the crowning of his twin sister. The moment from the episode ignited some theories and speculations that Jamie may be killing Cersei in the upcoming season.
The finale of "Game of Thrones" season 6 left its fans amassing a massive amount of questions. From the most awaited come back of almost forgotten characters like Gendry Baratheon, to the looming battle between the seven kingdoms, one of which is being led by Daenerys.
Now that the story confirmed Jon Snow's parentage, who is technically the rightful heir to the throne, it may be more interesting for fans to witness what happens next on the infamous TV series.
The last episode left off at a scene where Cersei was being crowned as queen, with Jamie arriving from his triumphant mission of reclaiming Riverrun from the Black Fish. The latter, seeing the Sept of Baelor burnt down to ashes, hurriedly went to King's Landing only to find out her twin sister was already crowned queen.
If viewers were able to pay attention at Jamie's facial expression, some may say the King Slayer is already feeling a bit concerned, or much more, alarmed at the things that have transpired during his absence. The look on his face suggests he was displeased seeing Cersei being crowned, Bustle reported.
The unpleasant look was primarily brought about by Cersei taking over King's Landing. This still excludes the fact that Cersei killed their last child. If Jamie finds it out, he may have no other choice but to put away his love for Cersei and end her madness by killing her, the report added.
It can be recalled that Jamie and Cersei's relationship went tense when the former lost his fighting hand. It even worsened when Jamie helped Tyrion escape from prison when the latter was accused of poisoning their first born, Joffrey, Tech Insider reported.
Tommen's suicide was consequentially brought about by Cersei's evil scheme of burning down the Sept of Baelor. It may not be long before Jamie finds out that their last child was killed by her twin sister and lover.
Viewers have seen the once narcissistic king slayer develop into a more compassionate person. This may potentially be the reason why he could kill his sister, lover and mother of his children.
