Recently, "Game of Thrones" (GoT) showrunners David Benioff and D.B Weiss appeared on UFC Unfiltered podcast where they were asked when will Season 7 premiere on HBO.
"We don't have an air date yet, but this year will probably be a little bit later," they said on the podcast. The showrunners revealed that the production will be delayed due to weather conditions.
"We're starting a bit later because at the end of this season, 'Winter is here' - and that means that sunny weather doesn't really serve our purposes anymore. So we kind of pushed everything down the line, so we could get some grim grey weather even in the sunnier places that we shoot," they added.
The previous seasons of the show premiered in the month of April.
Meanwhile, spoilers and speculations for "Game of Thrones" (GoT) Season 7 plotline are already running rampant. Season 6 finale saw Cersei kill High Sparrow and become the Queen. Rumours suggest that she will not be the ruler of the Seven Kingdoms for a long time as she might be one of the major characters to die when the show opens next year.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, "Game of Thrones" (GoT) actress Lena Headey, who plays the role of Cersei, revealed that she is hoping for the ultimate confrontation between her character and Daenerys Targaryen, who is now headed to Westeros to fight for the Iron Throne. At the same time, Headey is hoping for a "great death by Arya Stark"

"Honestly, what I think is going to happen - and I don't know where the story is going to go, but I think Jon (Kit Harington) and Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) are going to end up together, probably," Turner told the website.
