Rockstar Games has not yet announce GTA 6 but there are already loads of rumors regarding the upcoming GTA sequel, including a grand world map and a London setting.
GTA V Online is still garnering more players as Rockstar dishes out new DLCs such as the recent Cunning Stunts expansion that includes new supercars and vehicles plus loops around the city. However, many are still wondering what would be included in the new Grand Theft Auto VI or GTA 6 title considering that GTA 5 is already successful as it is.
Fans were expecting Rockstar to at least unveil that GTA 6 is under development during E3 2016 but there were no mentions of the sequel. Now, some speculate that the game will not be rolled out in 2018 and it could be launched in 2020 instead.
One of the largest GTA 6 rumors is the inclusion of a World Map Feature that could allow players to travel to other parts of the globe, Gamenguide has learned. It would be one of the grandest ambitions from Rockstar if it was true as it would take a lot of time and effort to develop a fully functioning world inside just one game.
There is no basis for these rumors so fans must take it with a grain of salt. Considering that the game will not be out for the next four years or so, there is still a slight possibility as it could explain the delay in their cycle.
Another rumors regarding the GTA 6 is its setting and it is expected to be in the United Kingdom specifically in London, Neurogadget reported. This means that players will be driving on the right-hand side of the car as is customary in the UK.
New designs of cars could then be seen in Grand Theft Auto VI. There could also be new driving mechanics considering that it is already a huge change in how drivers would normally drive their cars.
Since GTA 6 is nowhere to be found in E3 2016, players could still expect its announcement from Rockstar in E3 2017. Grand Theft Auto VI could be the next big thing from the developers and it could also lead to more GTA Online DLC in the long run especially if the World Map Feature is true.
