New details and possible spoilers for "Suicide Squad" movie will feature the possible main villain of the film and an "infinite" number of sequels and spin-offs.
It seems that the main villain of the "Suicide Squad" movie has been revealed as Task Force X will facing a mysterious and monstrous creature called the "The Adversary". Fans originally believed and speculated that both The Joker (Jared Leto) and June Moon/The Enchantress (Cara Delevinge) are the targets that Task Force X needs to take care off, but unfortunately both characters are not the masterminds behind the film's conflict.
Film director David Ayer offered a description in who "The Adversary" as he explains that it is magic, religion and mythology. "The Adversary" calls upon his minions called the "Eyes of the Adversary" to kill anyone forcing the Task Force X to fight it. It said to be magical in nature and a stuff of nightmares, while others say it is scientific and almost alien like, Screenrant reported.
With magical elements involved it seems that The Enchantress in the film has something to do with "The Adversary" and it is unknown what it is trying do in Midway City.
In other news, Ayer teased that possibility of more sequels and spin-offs films for "Suicide Squad" as he explained that the nature of the comic book universe and the DC universe is "fractal" and cited that there "infinite" ways for to make a story happen.
"The Fury" director added that with the DC universe habit of changing and rebooting the comic book storylines such as crisis, pre-crisis and multi-dimensional nature and time travel problems, Ayer thinks that each character in the "Suicide Squad" could have movies on their own and a zillion films to make, The Heroic Hollywood reported.
There are already talks of spin-off titles for each character in the "Suicide Squad" film such The Joker, Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) and Captain Boomerang (Jai Courtney).
Not to mention that The Joker will be appearing in a new Batman solo movie and rumored cameo in "Justice League" film and Ayer and Will Smith will team up again for a possible sequel. The movie run time for "Suicide Squad" will be at least 130 minutes, which is 2 hours and 10 mins. It will be 20 minutes shorter than the run time of "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" at 151 minutes and "The Dark Knight" at 152 minutes. It is also in par with "V for Vendetta" at 131 minutes and longer than the "Jonah Hex" movie at 81 minutes.
Ayer tweeted that "Suicide Squad" is already finished with its final mix and coloring. Now they are preparing to show it to the world on its premiere night and offcial cinema release and claimed that it is a "beast".
It is revealed that "Suicide Squad" will have a running time of 131 minutes.
"Suicide Squad" will be release in cinemas on Aug. 5.
