The premiere episode of "Suits" Season 6 showed Mike's imprisonment and Harvey trying his best to deal with the situation, as well as helping his colleagues save Pearson Specter Litt. The series' showrunner has teased that viewers will see some moments where Gabriel Macht's character Harvey may do something that could potentially hurt him in the end.
Things are not looking great for the name partners of Pearson Specter Litt where Harvey, Louis (Rick Hoffman) and Jessica (Gina Torres) found themselves under fire over Mike's fake lawyer's credentials. In the Season 6 premiere of "Suits" that aired on Wednesday, July 13, the three law firm partners tried their best to come up with a solution to settle the lawsuits filed against them and keep the company afloat. Viewers also saw Harvey admitting his part in Mike's deception.
Showrunner Aaron Korsh mentioned in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that the Season 6 premiere gave Macht's character a chance to own up to his mistake in having Mike join the law firm. Harvey conveyed his apologies to both Louis and Jessica for his bad decision in the said episode.
Avid fans of the show will also see another scene where Harvey will again have a difficult time. Korsh commented that viewers should watch out for another moment where "Harvey sort of falls on his sword." The showrunner did not share other details about the said scene.
Korsch also spoke candidly about Harvey, Louis and Jessica's plan to stop the firm's partners from getting their investment back. The first episode of "Suits" Season 6 showed the name partners agreeing to use the rest of the firm's partners' money to settle the lawsuits. The series' showrunner mentioned that the three characters will encounter some complications with their plans.
Meanwhile, in an interview with TV Line, Korsch weighed in on Mike's (Patrick J. Adams) imprisonment and whether prison mate Frank (Paul Schulze) can really hurt Mike and his loved ones. Frank has a grudge against Harvey for putting him in prison. In the "Suits" season 6 premiere, the said character revealed his intention to make Mike's life a living hell behind bars given his connection with Harvey.
The showrunner commented that the situation will impact Harvey as well. It could add some mental stress to Macht's character knowing that Mike may be suffering under Frank's revenge plans.
Fans would have to wait for further spoiler news or tune into upcoming episodes to learn more about the fate of beloved characters. "Suits" Season 6 airs on the USA Network every Wednesday.
