"19 Kids and Counting" alum Michelle Duggar is once again in the middle of a huge controversy.
According to Life & Style (via Raw Story), the mom of 19 was absolutely broken after finding out that her son Josh sexually molested young girls and used the extra-marital affair site Ashley Madison.
At that time, Duggar decided to cover up the truth about what her son did by not immediately coming forward with Josh's confession.
After spending six months at a rehab facility, Josh went back home and the publication claimed that Duggar and her husband Jim Bob's relationship was impacted tremendously.
"She has actually raised her voice to Jim Bob. The Jim Bob and Michelle who fell in love with each other 32 years ago is very different from the man she knows now. He bears little resemblance to the young man who was filled with hope and happiness," a source said.
However, Duggar and Jim Bob never considered getting a divorce because of their very strong Christian beliefs.
In fact, Josh's wife Anna also considered divorcing him after everything that he's done to destroy their marriage. However, Anna couldn't stomach the idea of divorce because it is not something that is openly allowed in their religion.
The source concluded that Duggar and Jim Bob are no longer like the happy couple they once were.
Meanwhile, Duggar and Jim Bob aren't the only ones from their family that are being linked to various controversies.
Just recently, Jessa Duggar Seewald was slammed for showing support over the upcoming opening of the creationist encounter.
The group is currently building a Noah's Ark-inspire boat that will be open to the public.
Jessa's brother-in-law Derick Dillard also revealed recently that Jill is not his first girlfriend.
The couple also admitted that they engaged in some acts that were strictly not allowed by their religious parents. This includes holding hands and hugging each other when they haven't wed.
Additionally, the couple also engaged in a series of late night phone calls that were unsupervised by Duggar and Jim Bob.
"19 Kids and Counting" was cancelled by TLC a few months ago after Josh's scandals.
