Ocean Wisdom and Drake have recently surpassed Eminem's achievements, taking his place as fastest rapper and owner of lasting number one hit song on Billboard 200 charts respectively. Besides losing his record, Eminem has also failed to appear in Forbes' list of wealthiest celebrities.
Apparently, the renowned slim shady rapper, who held the Guinness record as the world's fastest rapper, might not hold that title in the near future as United Kingdom rapper Ocean Wisdom is said to have overtaken his record by a 0.14 margin. Eminem claimed the record on Jan 1, 2013, at 4.28 words per second through his 1,560-word hit song "Rap God."
According to Unilad, Ocean Wisdom would rate at 4.45 words per second if the Guinness record calculations used on Eminem would get applied to Ocean's 227 seconds long song "Walkin," which comprises of 932 words. However, Eminem still holds the title as world's fastest rapper based on the Guinness record website until further notice.
In the meantime, Eminem's hit song "The Marshall Mathers LP," which held a continuous 8-week long record as position one on the Billboard 200 chart, has been outlived by hip-hop artist Drake. The "Energy" singer has extended the record by a week longer, Billboard reported.
With the lack of a new album in 2016, Eminem has also dropped out of Forbes famous list of top 100 wealthiest celebrities. He initially appeared for the first time on the list in 2011 at position 71 and later in 2015 at position 82.
His last recorded appearance was in New York during the movie "Southpaw" premiere on July 20, 2015. He has, since then, not been spotted in public appearances and has only been giving skimp information to his fans through social media channels like Instagram.
Despite all this, Eminem has been vamped with tracks production for television series such "Narc" as well as several movies. He has also embarked upon the gaming industry with a free game app called "Shady Wars." The game is cultivated upon getting the lyrics to Eminem's songs, while assembling coins and avoiding drones. It lets gamers get to pro, star, and "God" in the raps as they advance up the ladder.
While Eminem is reportedly making plans to move to the UK, fans hope that he will produce another album to restore his achievements.
