tvN's "Cinderella and Four Knights" is just a few days away and with its looming release date, new details about the upcoming drama are bound to come out. Latest reports claimed that the entirety of "Cinderella and Four Knights" will get a simultaneous broadcast in 63 countries across the globe.
"Cinderella and Four Knights," starring Jung II-Woo, Park So Dam and Ahn Jae-Hyun, will air in 56 countries in South and North America and seven nations in Asia, according to The Tick Tock, as cited by Yonhap News Agency.
It is said that the number of countries may grow, as the drama's production company HB Entertainment is actively in talks with some international networks in light of the show's broadcasting rights.
In the United States, "Cinderella and Four Knights" will premiere on the same date in DramaFever Corp., a video streaming website owned by Warner Bros. Entertainment. The upcoming 16-episode TV series is based on the novel "Cinderellawa Nemyungui Kisa" by Baek Myo.
Helmed by Kwon Hyuk-Chan and Lee Min-Woo, the upcoming TV series was fully pre-produced before its premiere. The drama began filming on Jan. 31 and completed its production on May 31.
"All the staff members and actors prepared so much for this project," a representative from the drama department told Soompi. "Their chemistry was great even though it was their first time meeting each other. We will work hard for this drama so we hope the audience gives a lot of love and support."
"Cinderella and Four Knights" follow the story of a brilliant college school student, Eun Ha-Won (Park So Dam), who dreams of becoming a veterinarian. Unfortunately, she loses her mother in a car accident and moves in with a wicked stepmother and stepsister.
One day, she helps a mysterious old man who proposes to her to live in a gorgeous chateau, dubbed Sky House, to pursue her dream. As destiny would have it, Eun Ha-Won moves into the Sky House with three gorgeous men, Kang Ji Woon (Jung), Kang Hyun Min (Ahn), and Kang Seo Woo (Lee Jung Shin), who also happen to be billionaire cousins and heirs to the Kang family fortune.
