WWE Chairman Vince McMahon is not one of the biggest fans of several NXT stars that were called up to the main roster. According to the latest rumors, McMahon is not very impressed with a recently promoted female superstar.
The WWE introduced NXT in 2012 as its primary developmental system that hones the future superstars of the company. It has produced some of the current stars in the company including Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, The Wyatt Family, Finn Balor, Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Paige, Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch and Charlotte.
However, it has not been all great for former NXT talents that were promoted to the main roster. Some stars such as Tyler Breeze, Bo Dallas, The Ascension, Adam Rose and The Vaudevillains did not reach the potential they had.
The latest call-up that has not impressed the chairman of the WWE is Dana Brooke, All Wrestling News reported. It is noted that McMahon was not satisfied with what he saw on Monday Night Raw when Brooke took on the WWE Women's champion.
The report added that the 70-year-old chairman questioned Triple H, NXT's head honcho, about the female superstar's in-ring work. There is now some rumors swirling around that McMahon feels Brooke is not ready for the main roster, especially live television.
Many fans were shocked that the WWE promoted Brooke despite all the inexperience she had in the industry. There were some fans that got upset because she got called before Bayley, who is currently one of the best female wrestlers in the world.
According to Bleacher Report, the company is at fault for Brooke's position since they promoted her in the first place. The 27-year-old only made her wrestling debut in 2014 and started training in 2013 when she signed with NXT.
Brooke was a former gymnast and bodybuilder before becoming a professional wrestler. She had made great strides as a wrestler on NXT but the WWE quickly pull the trigger in her call up. One of the ways she can improve is by wrestling at the developmental again.
It might be the best for her career since she will gain more time wrestling rather than being Charlotte's right-hand woman. Emma, who is currently out injured, was demoted to NXT last year but she re-invented herself.
There were rumors that top officials were very happy with Emma's improvement and she was in line for a push before her injury. Brooke can certainly learn more if she goes down the path of Emma. Check out the video below to see her match with Banks in this week's episode of Raw.
