Cody Christian is reprising his role as Theo in "Teen Wolf" Season 6. In season 5, Theo was dragged to hell by his dead sister, but it seems that he's back and very much alive. Will he still be the chimera bent on destroying Scott's pack or has he returned as an ally?
At San Diego Comic Con 2016, Hypable spoke to Christian and the actor shared some interesting details about his character's development in "Teen Wolf" Season 6. He revealed that viewers will see what Theo went through in hell and how it has affected him. While he's still going to have that bad boy demeanor viewers of the show love about him, Theo is now a broken man.
As seen on the "Teen Wolf" Season 6 trailer, the Wild Hunt will cause trouble for Scott's pack and the rest of Beacon Hills. At the center of the attacks is Stiles (Dylan O'Brien), who has been taken by the Ghost Riders and is about to fall into oblivion if Scott and the rest of the group can't save him. At one point in the trailer, Stiles seeks the help of his father who doesn't recognize him.
When Theo returns to Beacon Hills, he holds vital information that will help Scott and his pack solve the mystery encapsulating the city. His contribution will bring him back in the group's good graces and make him a formidable ally. Moreover, the Ghost Riders do not have the same effect on Theo as they do on others. This immunity puts Theo at an advantage; it also makes him a key element in defeating the main villain this season.
As revealed by the cast and crew at SDCC 2016, "Teen Wolf" Season 6 will be the show's last run. "'Teen Wolf' has been an amazing journey that captured the hearts and minds of fans more than we ever could have imagined," MTV quoted creator Jeff Davis as saying. "I'm eternally grateful for the support we've received over these past six years and am excited to take our brave fans on one last, thrilling adventure."
The sixth and final season will have 20 episodes. "Teen Wolf" Season 6 will premiere on Nov. 15.
