Niantic has updated the Pokémon GO APK and is now version 0.35 which includes new features that will be useful for players and a little bit of security against bot players.
Pokémon GO hack and cheats have led to many players being banned over the past week as Niantic ramps up their efforts to remove cheaters from the game. Unfortunately, there are still some tricks that players can do to still use third party apps and not get banned.
Niantic's new Pokémon GO 0.35.0 APK has the new useful Appraisals feature that allows players to gauge whether their Pokémon's IV is high enough for their liking, FevGames has learned. Unfortunately, it is still nowhere close to the third-party IV calculators that are more useful because they do not provide the exact percentage.
For those who are unfamiliar with IV or Individual Values, it determines whether a Pokémon will have the best stats possible when it levels up. It is randomly assigned and cannot be changed by the player and no Pokémon GO cheat or hack can do so.
Interested players can download the Pokémon GO IV Calculator 0.7.3 from APKPolice.com but do note that it can be considered as a Pokémon GO hack and could get players banned if they are not careful, Mobipicker reported. It requires the Android device to be at least on 4.4 KitKat version or later to avoid problems with compatibility.
Users can quickly tap on the Pokémon they like to see their IV measurement screen. They will still need to adjust trainer levels and to set the CP plus HP values to calculate the total IV of their Pikachu, Dragonite, Lapras or another Pokémon.
With Niantic cracking down on cheaters, Pokémon GO hacks are increasingly becoming hard to come by. Fortunately, there are still some active bots that can be used to level up and to catch Pokémon.
The catch is that players will have to use a new Pokémon Trainer Club account for the Necrobot GUI Forked release by vandernorth on Github. Players will also have to refrain from accessing the account on their phones until they reach their desired level or number of monsters.
Pokémon GO hacks, cheats and bots can still be used by players provided that they know what they are doing. The IV calculator for the Pokémon GO APK could also be considered by Niantic as a violation of their TOS which can lead to a ban.
