After Serena Williams poured out her heart over break-up with then-boyfriend, Common, in 2010, she was spotted with her ex-lover on this year's post-Oscar party.
People are asking, are they back together?
The two were seen getting cozy together during the after-party, and had a photo taken together, TMZ reports. Common even had her hold the Oscar's trophy, which prompted the tennis star to post on her Instagram page, "I tried to run with this Common's Oscar, but I got caught."
Common performed "Glory," the track from "Selma," along with John Legend at the Oscar's, which brought the audience to its feet. The song won an Oscar for the Best Original Song.
The post was removed later on, but people continued to speculate over the matter, thinking that the two have gotten back years after they parted ways.
Common and Williams dated for two years, but split up in April 2010. US Weekly previously reported that the reason behind the break-up was their busy careers, according to a source close to the couple.
"They are two workaholics who couldn't see each other enough," explains the source. "Things happen."
Williams also spoke openly about their relationship over the years, saying they didn't make time for each other, but puts the blame most on Common.
She told reporters that the rapper's schedule was worse than hers. "He didn't want the responsibility. It's really tough," she added.
Common appeared on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" two weeks after the break-up went public, saying that he became involved emotionally just seeing her amazing performance on the tennis court.
