Niantic has recently rolled out a new Pokémon GO APK update that brings new features for trainers looking to be the very best like no one ever was.
The new update allows Pokémon GO players to see where they have captured a certain Pokémon. Capture locations can be useful for a perfectly legal way to determine whether there is a nest where they initially caught the monster.
Pokémon GO players who were quick to download the very first versions know that the capture location feature was already available back then but was just removed after the server issues across the globe, Mic has learned. It included a map where the Pokémon's capture location was pinned for easier reference the next time they might want to hunt for more candy.
There have been several new features in the past versions rolled out by Niantic. One of the most useful features was the revamp of the Nearby and Sightings tab found in the lower corner of the UI screen.
With the new feature already helping Pokémon GO players to find out who they can catch in the area, the capture locations would also help if they want to catch that certain type of Pokémon once again for the candies. The new Pokémon GO update puts the Android version at 0.39.0 and the iOS version at 1.9.0, Indian Express reported.
Another feature included in the new version is the Incense usage through the Pokémon GO Plus wearable. The small accessory has just been recently released after several weeks of being delayed and is now helping players to catch more monsters.
Players can now use an Incense without having to open up their smartphone thanks to the Pokémon GO Plus accessory. They would still need to open the screen if they get notified of a nearby Pokémon though which could make the new feature ultimately useless in some cases.
Pokémon GO updates are regularly rolled out by Niantic and players can automatically patch their apps when a Wi-Fi connection is available. They should note that they would not be able to play the game if their Pokémon GO APKs are outdated.
