Patriots quarterback Tom Brady may have been suspended from the NFL, but he is not moping about it. Instead, Brady is enjoying the prolonged vacation in Italy with wife Gisele Bundchen on the third weekend of his suspension.
He was even spotted sunbathing nude by the New York Post which published his photo. On Monday, a federal court reinstated the ban, but his legal woes appear not to bother Brady who is seen focused on his wife’s tiny bikini while enjoying each other’s company in Positano, a seaside Italian town.
Brady even considers the vacation “a great chance to get away.” He said that he never had a chance to go on an R&R in September, although he added, “hopefully I don’t have one for a very, very long time.”
He is scheduled to return in Week Five to face the Cleveland Browns, reported Boston Globe. Despite Brady’s suspension, New England did well with a 3-0 start, while the Jets are 1-2.
He was banned for four games after Brady was caught illegally deflating footballs during the 2015 AFC Championship game. He had already missed three consecutive games against the Dolphins, Texans and Bills. Judge Richard Berman’s original decision in September was overturned by the appeals court which cited the enormous leeway given to arbitrators in the process and mocking the players union for granting Roger Goodell - who suspended Brady – to be both judge and jury when it comes to suspending players.
