"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" is more than nine months away from its theatrical release. However, abundant spoilers and rumoured plot details continue to flood the internet. A new report swirling around hints at a flashback sequence involving Luke Skywalker. The scene is said to be "pivotal" to Luke Skywalker's storyline.
According to Making Star Wars, a flashback sequence will feature young Luke Skywalker. It will reveal what happens to Luke Skywalker after the events of "Return of the Jedi" and how it ties-in "Star Wars: The Force awakens."
As per the report, this scene is set up in a location called as Rose's Pub. Rose is a character said to be portrayed by "12 Years a Slave" actress Lupita Nyong'o. Describing the scene, the website states that in present day, Rose is telling her story to Han, Rey and Finn. In flashback, at the Jedi Academy, corpses lay on the ground. Young Luke Skywalker arrives and sees what has happened. Artoo-Detoo is sad as his master leaves him behind.
In Savannah, the hand that takes the sword in the opening sequences is revealed to be Naka's. A peasant drops a lightsaber, fire breaks and panic spreads. In the desert, a local merchant is seen doing a business with a rich man.
At an unspecified location, a "fierce battle" takes place between two groups the Clan and the Seven. The Clan is using the sword to fight the Seven. When the "last man is down," Kylo Ren appears and he approiaches Rey. The Seven are looking for "the object" when Rose appears with it.
In present day, at the underground chamber of Rose's Pub, Rose reveals the lightsaber. While Finn is drawn towards the lightsaber, Rey is "revolted." Kylo Ren appears with Stormtroopers. The castle and Rose's Pub is destructed during an attack by the villains. However, Rose uses her superpowers to "defeat" Stormtroopers.
"Daylight Robbery" actor Robert Boulter is playing the role of young Luke Skywalker, according to an unconfirmed report by Making Star Wars. As noted in the article, the character is often referred to as "The Young Original Warrior" in the master character list for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." The website does not confirm the tip and describes it as "just a rumour."
J.J. Abrams' "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" will be released on Dec. 17.
