It is official. The multi-lingual film "Kung Fu Yoga," starring legendary actor Jackie Chan and Indian actress Disha Patani, will finally hit the movie theaters on Jan. 28, 2017.

The good news came to light after Indian actress Amyra Dastur, 23, who will be seen sharing screen space with the "Rob-B-Hood" actor, took to Twitter on Oct. 4, Tuesday. There, she revealed the release date of "Kung Fu Yoga" along with the film's first official poster.

Helmed by Stanley Tong, "Kung Fu Yoga" follows Jack (Chan), a renowned Chinese archeology professor at the Terracotta Warriors Museum in Xi'an. He collaborates with an Indian professor Ashmita (Patani) to search for ancient treasures scattered between China, India, and the Middle East.

"Kung Fu Yoga," which is currently in production, has a budget of $65 million. The film is part of the three-film agreement signed between the two nations during the visit of the Chinese President Xi Jinping to India in 2015, Times of India reported.

It was earlier reported that the entire cast and crew of "Kung Fu Yoga" recently traveled to Dubai to film several pivotal scenes. The filming will conclude on Oct. 30 and is expected to continue in Beijing and India at some point in December.

"We are greatly looking forward to filming parts of 'Kung Fu Yoga' in Dubai, and the locations we have selected perfectly complement the scenes we are shooting here," director Tong said in a statement obtained by Variety. "Dubai's iconic skyscrapers and attractions are recognized around the world, and we are excited to work closely with Dubai Film and TV Commission to ensure an enjoyable and successful filming time in Dubai."

Co-produced by China's Shinework Media and Taihe Entertainment, "Kung Fu Yoga" also stars Sonu Sood, Aarif Rahman, Eric Tsang, Damian Mavis, Tomer Oz, Adam Stone, Temur Mamisashvili, Fatih Ugurlu, Paul Philip Clark, Yixing Chang and Joel Adrian.
