Netfilx's "Orange Is The New Black" took the audiences off guard after a major character, Poussey, was killed during the penultimate episode in season 4. Rumor has it that another major character will be killed in season 5 and all eyes are on Piper Chapman.

While it seems unlikely to kill a key character to the story, the show has proven that it is not entirely impossible. Piper is almost done with her sentence and it could mean about her untimely demise Litchfield Penitentiary.

Another rumor is that fans believe that the 5th season would be the last of the show as the story is now killing off major characters. However, show runner Jenji Kohan stated that "OITNB" is renewed until season 7, according to Parent Herald. This does not necessarily mean that the show would go on as there are other cases of TV-series renewed but canceled the following year. There are no official statements yet whether the producers would complete the story until the 7th season.

In an interview with Popsugar, Taylor Schilling said that her character would have a tough and challenging year. She simply stated "I don't know.. I don't know."

While Netflix is on the path to killing some of the characters of the show, the series is also expecting the return Lori Petty's character Lolly, who was sent to the psychiatric prison after being considered a suspect in the murder that happened in prison.

Petty told Hollywood Reporter: "I certainly hope so. I do think we will. I can't say for sure, but I absolutely think we will. They are just now filming episode one (of season five) and you know how we ended season four. They have a lot to deal with right now! I'm just waiting on the phone call to get back on the plane. I'm sure it will come, but we have 13 episodes and they've got a lot to take care of, so we'll see,"

"Orange Is The New Black" is set for its release somewhere on June, 2017.
