New details for "Final Fantasy 7" remake will feature a possible PSX 2016 appearance, 2017 release date and the new battle system.
Game director Tetsuya Nomura gave an update regarding the development of "Final Fantasy 7" remake as he told Dengeki PlayStation (via Siliconera) that the remake will likely have a very different battle system compared to the original game. Nomura and his team of game developers are currently in the middle of elevating various aspects up to finished quality.
As seen in previous trailers, the "Final Fantasy 7" remake will have a more action-based gameplay rather than the Active Time Battle system incorporated in the original "FFVII" in the PlayStation console. Nomura stated that he has heard several request from gaming fans to add the ATB style in the remake, but Nomura believes he has found the perfect gameplay system. Ofcourse, he added that gamers who are not used to the action-oriented gameplay will have a feature that will help them keep up with the remake's gameplay.
Nomura stated that "Dissidia" is the perfect example for "Final Fantasy 7" remake and there are speculations that the game will be divided into three parts similar to "Final Fantasy XIII".Square Enix producer Yohinori Kitase added that each part of the "Final Fantasy 7" remake will be a full-scale game as every installment may tell the story from a different perspective.
In other news, Square Enix will likely reveal new game details at the PSX 2016 event on Dec. 3-4 inside the Anaheim Convention Center located in Anaheim, CA, Neurogadget reported.
Reddit username central_void teased that the remake will likely be ported to Sony's updated PS4 console, PlayStation 4 Pro.The reddit user claimed that the release of "Final Fantasy 7" remake was pushed back to 2017, due to their plan to put the game in the PS4 Pro.
There have been rumors that "Final Fantasy 7" remake will be ported on the new Nintendo NX console, but Nomura stated in an interview that they have no plans whatsover in putting the game in the new console anytime soon.
Perhaps Square Enix will likely explain the complete details for "Final Fantasy 7" remake during the PSX event. Several fans claimed that the first episode for "Final Fantasy 7" remake will likely launch on March 2017.
"Final Fantasy 7" remake is speculated to launch sometime in 2017 for the PS4 console as it marks the 20th Anniversary of the game.
