"Red Dead Redemption" avid fan Bill Wright recently took to Twitter to announce that Take-Two Interactive is possibly developing an online version of the action-adventure video game. In case the move materializes, this will not be the first time the developer is creating an online adaptation of one of its games. When "Grand Theft Auto" was launched online, the version was well-received by fans.

Although this suggests positive news by "Red Dead Redemption" fans, the domain was still registered in August 2015 in the listing on ICANN and was last updated in February. The period after this time may already had a significant impact to the development of the online version.

In addition, Take-Two has not released any official announcement about the said online adaptation. So viewers are advised to take all of these information with a grain of salt for the time being.

After being teased with images for the past days, Rockstar is expected to launch an official trailer for "Red Dead Redemption 2" on Oct. 20, Thursday, at 11 a.m., according to Kotaku

"With Red Dead Redemption 2, the team is working hard to push forward our vision for interactive entertainment in a truly living world," Rockstar Games founder Sam House said in a statement obtained by the publication. "We hope to deliver players an epic experience that builds upon everything we've learned making games."

It has been confirmed that "Red Dead Redemption 2" will be coming this fall to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. For any news about a PC version, the publisher has not given any information of the possibility. It can be noted that Rockstar never released a PC platform of its "Red Dead Redemption" games.
