"Teen Wolf" star Tyler Posey is set to make his directorial debut on the show's sixth season. Posey, who plays lead star Scott McCall, is going to direct an episode of "Teen Wolf" Season 6, which is confirmed to be the show's final run.
At Entertainment Weekly's 2016 PopFest at The Reef on Oct. 30, the cast of "Teen Wolf" Season 6, including Posey, Dylan Sprayberry, Shelley Hennig, Cody Christian and Khylin Rhambo, were in attendance to dish out some exciting details about the upcoming season. According to Just Jared, it was revealed during the event that the 25-year-old actor will direct an episode in "Teen Wolf" Season 6, something which the actor has been very excited about.
Rhambo teased that fans are going to love the episode Posey is directing. The latter also commented that while he loves acting, he also has a passion for directing. Prior to his directing tint for the MTV supernatural show, Posey put his skills at work when he directed the indie zombie short film titled "Welcome to the Zombie," which is now available on Stakeout Production's official YouTube video.
In the meantime, there will be a lot of big and emotional changes in "Teen Wolf" Season 6. Speaking to EW, Rhambo revealed that Mason and Corey's relationship will grow even more and that the stakes will be higher for the couple.
Moreover, since it will be the show's last season, emotions are definitely running high, especially for Posey who's been on the show since day one. "It's become such a second home to me," Posey said about working on the show. "I would stay for hours after work. I spend more time with these people, 17 hours a day, six months out of the year, for seven years...I'm really gonna miss having that second home."
It's going to be an emotional whirlwind for "Teen Wolf" Season 6, in which Scott's pack are facing the Ghost Riders, whose sole purpose for visiting Beacon Hills is to hunt people and make them members of the mysterious group.
As previously reported, Scott's bestfriend, Stiles (Dylan O'Brien), is one of the captives of the Ghost Riders. As a result, all memory of him will be wiped out of history, as if he never existed. It will be Scott's job, together with Lydia and the rest of the gang, to save Stiles.
"Teen Wolf" Season 6 premieres on Nov. 15.
