The latest details for "Resident Evil 7" will feature a "Collector's Edition", four fear factors and the possibility of the sequel in other VR devices soon.
It seems that gamers will get something interesting when they buy "Resident Evil 7" next year as the official website of GameStop Italy revealed a "Collector's Edition" of the sequel.
The "Resident Evil 7 Collector's Edition" will feature a 20th Anniversary "Resident Evil" artbook, Five limited edition lithographs with envelope and numbered, Three exclusive alternative covers, One exclusive DLC for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC versions, a USB Stick 16GB “3D Finger” and Model Principal House.
Strangely, it seems that "Collector's Edition" will not include the actual "Resident Evil 7" game as gamers can buy it at €99.98 (107.49 USD). But, gamers can buy the "Collector's Edition" with the actual game at €150.96 (162.30 USD) in the PC and €160.96 (173.05 USD) for the console versions.
In other news, Capcom revealed new game details for "Resident Evil 7" as the Japanes game developers told Famitsu (via GamingBolt) that the game will have four fear factors.
These fear factors include players trying to search each area to try and get an understanding of the kind of enemy that is stalking them, and how far it will go to chase them down.
An array of weapons can be used on an enemy, but not all them will be effective. Gamers must also stock of each item in each room to try and find the exit.
Lastly, never quite knowing what item may come in handy at what point, and having the fundamental impulse to want to hold on to everything.
Capcom previusly stated that "Resident Evil 7" will be a PlayStation VR exclusive game throughout 2017 and will not have any plans to port the sequel to other video game platforms for the time being.
Despite the fact that "Resident Evil 7" will be launching on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, Capcom announced the sequel during Sony’s E3 2016 event, pointing towards a relationship between the publishers that could have led to the exclusivity period.
However, there is still a possibility that "Resident Evil 7" will be available to other VR gear headsets as the exclusivity window of the sequel to PS VR is only 12 months, and after that gamers will experience it using the Oculus Rift and Vive VR gears soon.
Capcom announced a new game demo for "Resident Evil 7" called "Tape 3 Resident Evil" next month.
"Resident Evil 7" will launch on Jan. 24, 2017 for the PS4, PS VR, Xbox One and PC platforms.
