Lady Gaga has battled post-traumatic syndrome (PTSD) since she was 19. A victim of sexual assault, she made her revelation infront of a group of young LGBT people at Harlem's Ali Forney Center in New York on Nov.25, which aired on Dec.5, Monday, at the "Today" show.

During Gaga's PTSD announcement, she brought surprise gifts, clothing and donuts for the LGBT people at the center. The "Today" show was also there as part of the #ShareKindness campaign along with her foundation "Born This Way."

"I told the kids today, 'I suffer from PTSD,'" Gaga told "Today." "I've never told anyone that before. So here we are. But the kindness that's shown to me by doctors as well as my family, and my friends, it's really saved my life."

During Gaga's heart-to-heart talk with the kids at the center, she told them she was able to move on and find peace by sharing kindness to other people. The "Million Reasons" hitmaker also shared how she is coping up with her PTSD and daily stress through meditation.

#ShareKindness campaign is a collaboration between NBC and the "Born This Way" foundation that was founded by Gaga and her mother Cynthia Germanotta. The goal of the campaign is to inspire people to commit to 1 million acts of kindness by the end of 2016.

Gaga's PTSD revelation came after her recent performance at the U.K.'s "The X Factor" on Dec.4, Sunday. Her dramatic performance drew both admiration and criticisms from her fans after they saw the way she looks. Most of her fans slammed her for having a work done on her face.

Fans argued that it was not Gaga, who performed at the event, but an impostor. They even took to social media their doubts. Some commented that she had a nose job or a face surgery.

Knowing Gaga, she always makes it a point to look different every time she performs. Whether it is just the power of her makeup, or she had a plastic surgery, she still looks amazing.

Earlier this week, Gaga admitted that her PTSD was not only brought by sexual assault. She confirmed that she is also experiencing traumas during her entire career.

Meanwhile, Gaga's PTSD revelation that aired on Dec.5, Monday, marked the 19th death anniversary of Ali Forney. He is the murdered homeless gender nonconforming person, to whom the center for LGBT people was named.
