The latest details for "Destiny 2" will feature new Guardians, Subclasses and Vicarious Visions helping with the sequel's development.
Several rumors are making rounds regarding the development of "Destiny 2" as Bungie stated that Vicarious Visions will be helping them out in making the sequel a reality. Vicarious Visions is an Activision studio which has worked on heaps of different games, often producing ports for projects headlined by other teams. It also led Skylanders development on alternate years.
The development team from Vicarious Visions has almost certainly been brought on to help with development of "Destiny 2", which gamers are expecting by the end of 2017.
What makes this news more interesting and exciting is that it lends further support to September rumors about "Destiny 2's" announcement, which include a PC release, a new setting, and lots of other interesting possibilities, VG 24/7 reported.
Meanwhile, "Destiny 2" might introduce a generation of Guardians and Subclasses as several gaming fans in the Destiny subreddit page are proposing a deeper, more RPG-focused class system that really makes each character feel unique. Having one subclass means more customization options.
Other gamers requested for more background on "Destiny’s" three elemental types: Solar, Arc, and Void in the sequel. They wanted Bungie to change how elements work at a fundamental level in "Destiny 2" to which their only use in the first game is to either take out an enemy’s shield of the same-element, or be abused during burn modifiers, The BitBag reported.
Bungie posted a job listing on their website as they are looking for a World Design Tester for individuals who have experience testing multiple game platforms such as PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC.
The mention of a PC platform caught the interest of gaming fans hinting that "Destiny 2" might be something that Bungie could be working on in the future.
However, Kotaku reporter Jason Schreier made some clarifications to the platforms as he tweeted that the new job position will not include the PS3 and Xbox 360, but assured gaming fans that the PC is included. Bungie stopped supporting with new content for "Destiny" just prior to the launch of "Rise of Iron" expansion.
For now, Bungie has yet to comment on the situation, but considering Schreier’s track record with Destiny leaks, it is likely he has a source close to the game that has confirmed it.
The sequel might also feature a dialogue choice system as it will lead gamers to have more interactive conversations with other players. Dialogue choices are extremely common in RPGs, and they have recently started to show up other games genres such as "Uncharted 4" and "Titanfall 2".
With a new game feature like that, Bungie will give a slight psychological impetus to players to participate in NPC conversations and each choice they make can create multiple impacts within "Destiny 2's" plot.
There is no release date yet for "Destiny 2".
