The latest details for "Overwatch" will feature Tery Crews possibly voicing Doomfist and Blizzard to reduce draw decisions on Assault maps.
It seems that Doomfist could be the next DLC character joining "Overwatch's" roster as "The Expendables" star Terry Crews visited Blizzard Entertainment's office when he posted a photo on Facebook. While the details from his visit are still unknown, the trip will lead to fan speculation that Blizzard is taking Crews up on his offer of playing a character in the game, specifically Doomfist, Gamerant reported.
Crews is known to be a celebrity gamer, who has built his own gaming PC and plays "Overwatch" regularly. While it may assume that his visit from Blizzard Entertainment might be for personal enjoyment, gaming fans could not help wonder if Crews will likely be voicing Doomfist for "Overwatch" and launching the character sometime next year.
Doomfist is hinted to join "Overwatch" and was featured in the first animated short of the game. According to former "Overwatch" story teller Chris Metzen, Doomfist is a generational character all using the same super-powered gauntlets for both heroics and villainy.
Three characters who have used Doomfist have been featured in "Overwatch", with two characters being named Savior and Scourge, while the other is called the Successor, in this case the next person to adopt the mantle of Doomfist and possibly a future DLC character soon.
Other characters are rumored to join "Overwatch's" roster are Liao and Athena.
In other news, Blizzard Entertainment will likely reduce the number of "draw" decisions in Assault maps for "Overwatch" as gamers were very vocal about the topic.
As such, the game developers decided to look into these assault maps, particularly Hanamura, Volskaya and Anubis. Game director Jeff Kaplan stated that they are adding some potential changes and lowering draws in the game.
Kaplan added that that Hanamura is by far the worst offender with a 18 percent draw rate on a bad week. How do the other map types do? Control draws zero percent of the time, Payloads zero percent, and Hybrids only draw 5.75 percent of the time. Overall, the chances of a draw in competitive are about 5.45 percent.
Other ideas for assault maps fixes include increasing the respawn time for the defenders, making the capturing of the second point faster and adding more "capture safepoints", increasing it from three spawn points to six, PvP Live reported.
"Overwatch" is currently available for the PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms.
