Game developer Arkane Studios and publisher Bethesda has launched recently "Dishonored 2's" first free update for all platforms. The game gets a lot of improvement for its features.
According to the official website of Bethesda, the latest update for the video game added a new feature that will make it more interesting, which was the New Game Plus feature to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
The New Game Plus feature allows the players to choose between the two protagonists, Emily and Corvo, but with a new addition. With the new feature, they are now able to combine the abilities of the two characters to create any custom combo of multiple powers that they want.
The new feature can be unlocked once the players have completed the video game as either character. They can gain access to all the Bonecharm Traits and Runes they have collected from their previous playthrough. They can also reassign those traits and runes to whatever powers they want.
Creative director Harvey Smith said in a statement that the players have asked for this feature for a long time, so here it is now. He also said that this will be their chance to make higher-powered characters, and they have been having fun with the feature too.
The game developer announced that there will be more options to customize the players' experience in January with the second free update. The next update will feature two new features, which are Mission Selection and additional Custom Difficulty Settings. The second additional feature will allow them to further customize the video game's gameplay and adjust the challenge based on a wide array of settings.
For the PC platform, the update has improved several features of "Dishonored 2." According to the official website of Steam, the new update has fixed several bugs for the PC like the bug where switching off the V-sync for the second time will set the FPS limiter to 30 instead of 60 by default. It has also fixed a bug where plugging and unplugging the controller after the game has launched will lock the controls until either the controller or the Alt Tab is used.
