New details for "Tekken 7" will feature a possible release date of game for the PlayStation 4 and Eliza not added to the roster.
Several rumors are making rounds regarding the possible release date of "Tekken 7" for the PS4, Xbox One and PC platforms as Bandai Namco plans to shut down the free-to-play game, "Tekken Revolution" in the PlayStation 3 on March 21, 2017.
The Japanese company's decision to shut down "Tekken Revolution" has something to do with the release date plans of "Tekken 7" as it is hinted that they will launch between the first and second quarter of 2017. The Tekken The team is to switch their full attention to their new game thus cancelling its support for previous releases, Neurogadget reported.
While their have been no confirmation as to what exat date "Tekken 7" will launch in the gaming platforms, it is safe to assume that gaming fans will have to wait a little bit further since the sequel will have a guaranteed launch next year.
Meanwhile, it seems that one character from the "Tekken" series might not be added to "Tekken 7's" growing roster as the vampire Eliza will not be part of the sequel,
Game diretor Katsuhiro Harada confirmed the report by tweeting an answer to a fan on Twitter who wanted Eliza in "Tekken 7".
Eliza first debut in "Tekken Revolution" as a new playable character as several gaming fans have been requesting for Eliza to be included in the latest Tekken game solely because they were unable to play Tekken Revolution for the PS3. Eliza actually caused a stir in the gaming community due to the fact that her breast size can increase in-game.
Gaming fans believed that Eliza could still be part of "Tekken 7" going so far as to possibly become a DLC character in "Tekken 7's" post-launch plans, TheBitBag reported.
Bandai Namco will likely add more characters in "Tekken 7" as Harada teased that Lei Wulong would become the game's first DLC fighter when he tweeted an answer to a fan asking if Lei will be added to "Tekken 7's" roster and stated that their is still a chance for him to included, however, he explained the usage for the character was very low and their effort was not enough.
With that in mind, several gamer speculated that Lei Wulong will not likely be added to main roster when "Tekken 7" when it launches next year, or Bandai Namco will still include him in the game as a possible DLC character during the sequel's post-launch plans.
Other fighters such as Anna Williams, Zafina, Julia Chang and Roger Jr. are also being hinted in "Tekken 7's" roster. Roger Jr.'s chances of being included in "Tekkn 7" are rather unlikely as Harada and Bandai Namco has a "tough decision" on adding more non-human characters in the game. With that in mind, their decision might prompt a mixed response from gaming fans as some would prefer not add them in the roster, while others want them as they have been part of the "Tekken" series. However, since Kuma and Panda are added, it seems that Bandai Namco will likely add Roger Jr. into the roster soon.
