The new update for the hit game "Diablo 3" is special, as it is a tribute for the 20th anniversary of the original "Diablo" game. Update 2.4.3 includes an event that includes a retro-style dungeon almost ripped from the first "Diablo."
According to Game Rant, Blizzard has added a lot of references from "Diablo" to many of its other major games. Some of these include "Overwatch," which gives players to spray "Diablo"-themed images around maps and "World of Warcraft," which features the secret cow level for players to unlock.
As such, it is only fitting for Blizzard to honor "Diablo" through "Diablo 3" itself, with update 2.4.3 rolling out on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. The special retro-style dungeon that came with the patch can be visited in Adventure mode.
It is complete with the old school graphics, as well as sound effects, controls and more. This dungeon has 16 floors, and it has the enemies and corresponding bosses from the original games that players can match their mettle against.
However, there is a catch, as players who want to experience the entirety of what the dungeon can offer must be quick, since the event will end by the start of February. Fortunately, for those who missed out on the Dakening of Tristram event can play it again next year at the same month.
The update 2.4.3 does not only include the retro-style dungeon. According to Game Spot, a number of new items were also implemented alongside it. This includes the seventh piece of the Armor of Akkan set for Crusaders.
Additionally, some of the existing items in the game are revamped. Some of the Legendary items have received new Legendary bonuses, but for those who already procured them, they will need to hunt for a new one in order to enjoy the new effects as their item will stay the same.
"Diablo 3" is now available for the PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One platforms.
