Kim Sejeong is confirmed to release her first OST. The female artist will be releasing her first track for "The Legend of the Blue Sea" Official Sound Track.
According to Jellyfish Entertainment, Kim will be participating in the sound track of the SBS drama with a tentative song title "One in Ten Thousand," Soompi reported. The amateur female singer has been praised because of her vocal abilities since she appeared in "Produce 101."
Kim was able to produce chart-topping hits like her first single "Flower Road," which was released last November. Real-time charts from Korea's biggest digital music site, Melon, included Kim's single in the top charts.
In other "Legend of the Blue Sea" news, the Korean fantasy drama nabbed the position of the highest rated local TV show in terms of brand reputation according to a reputation brand index. The time frame of data was from Oct. 16, 2016 to Dec. 17, 2016 where "The Legend of the Blue Sea" bested 19 other Korean dramas in terms of brand reputation, according to the Korean Business Research Institute as cited by Osen.
The collected data for the multiple Korean dramas under study were rated in terms of production's communication, community, brand and media exposure. Among other local TV shows, the fantasy drama emerged as the most popular.
Meanwhile, "The Legend of the Blue Sea" star Lee Min Ho also bagged several awards in the recently concluded SBS Awards Festival Drama Awards. Lee took home the Best Couple Award with co-star Jun Ji Hyun, the Top Excellence Award for Genre and Fantasy Drama, and a Top 10 Stars Award.
"The Legend of the Blue Sea" is a South Korean TV series by SBS Entertainment starring Lee Min Ho and Jun Ji Hyun which started airing last Nov. 16, 2016. It follows the story Joon Jae, a conman, and Sim Chung, a mermaid, who met when the latter was washed ashore near an ocean side resort.
