"Goblin" cast members have shown their amazing on-screen chemistry with each other in previous episodes of the tvN fantasy drama. Recently, Gong Yoo and Kim Go Eun's hilarious antics on set were captured in a latest behind-the-scenes clip.
Completing filming activities for a drama or film can be very stressful, especially if some of the scenes require action sequences or emotional encounters. With the unique genre of the tvN drama "Goblin" that contains a mix of romance, suspense, comedy, as well as a little action, capturing all these elements on film can become quite challenging.
However, Gong and Kim appear to have found a way to destress from filming pressures. A behind-the-scenes clip released by tvN, as cited by Soompi, showed the camaraderie between the two co-stars and their fun times in between shoots.
Some of the scenes in the said video featured Gong and Kim laughing together as they practiced their lines and actions, even adding adlibs to make the filming environment more pleasant. The two stars' antics even resemble the funny bickering between brothers and sisters.
A practice shoot for an emotional hug scene that would have conveyed Shin's (Gong) gratitude in saving Eun Tak (Kim) from death also became a light moment. The "Train to Busan" actor and Kim both laughed when Gong abruptly pulled the actress to him in a tight yet awkward embrace.
Moreover, Gong and Kim also spent their quick filming breaks talking with each other and even taking on-set photos. The "Coffee Prince" star even willingly acted as his co-star's photographer as Kim posed alongside several lit candles while Gong teased the actress on how pretty she looks.
Meanwhile, photo stills from Lee Dong Wook and Yoo In Na's filming activities, as obtained by All Kpop, revealed the two stars' intense focus as they shot the grim reaper kiss scene amidst a cold winter night. Both celebrities showed off their professionalism as they remained in character despite the freezing weather condition.
"Goblin" airs every Friday and Saturday on tvN. Watch a clip of Gong and Kim's funny behind-the-scenes antics below:
