Reports have recently surfaced that Taiwan's mobile maker HTC is set to launch two smartphones in China during an HTC-organized conference that will last until March 17.
According to GSMDome, the Taiwanese tech firm will present and showcase the HTC One E9 and the HTC One M9 Plus, its newest smartphones that have been making headlines for the last few weeks.
HTC China's smartphone-shaped metal plate invitation sent out prior to the conference hinted some industry insiders that the firm is unveiling its latest devices.
The HTC One E9 is rumored to sport a 5.5-inch QHD Display and an octa-core Mediatek MT6795 processor. It will also allegedly feature 3GB of RAM, 32GB of storage and a 20-megapixel camera.
This HTC device, whose operating system is leaked to look like an Android Lollipop, is estimated to cost 3,000 yuan ($480).
In an Engadget post, China's telecommunications regulator, TENAA, is reported to have posted a One E9 image, revealing a flat and thin design, and large high-resolution screen.
The regulator furthermore disclosed that the latest HTC mobile will measure 156.5 by 76.5 by 75.4 mm (6.1 by 3 by 0.3 inches). The device's weight is yet to be announced.
On the other hand, the HTC One M9 Plus is said to have the same features except that it will only have a 5.2-inch QHD display.
The Taiwan-based mobile maker has recently released its flagship smartphone, the One M9. With this move, experts say that it is highly probable that the firm will further bring new devices in the market.
Apart from this buzz, the HTC is also expected to launch a customized version of its Sense 7 UI for the smartphone maker's Chinese consumers on the same conference.
